Morning sis

Growing up talking about menopause was a taboo and silent discussion. To hear one talk of hot flashes, people would burst out laughing… I never understood why, even to this day. It seems rather normal to talk about one’s monthly periods than of menopause yet they are related very closely. From what I have picked up, menopause seems to be associated with one’s sexual drive, meaning when you get to that point in life, you have a low interest /need/want for sex. Which is why we want to leave that discussion in the cupboards. We need to discuss menopause more openly to inform those of negative opinions that it does not affect one’s sexual needs. It is all in the mind. Women let’s rise in unity and help each other.
